The MLC is pleased to announce a call for applications to participate in its third class of active duty military officers aspiring to bridge the civil-military divide. Members will formally begin their participation with the MLC at the Milken Global Conference (MGC) held in April each year at the Beverly Hills Hilton.
The annual Milken Institute’s Global Conference will spotlight critical global issues by bringing together over 3,000 successful world leaders from the government, business, academic, and non-profit sectors. MLC members will participate as panel members on a variety of topics, host a private discussion for Milken Associates, exchange ideas with the Young Leaders Circle, and pair with Milken Associates for one-on-one collaboration opportunities at the conference and beyond.
The MLC seeks to include active duty military officers (ranks O1 to O5) from all branches of service in problem-solving discussions about issues of global importance and in hands-on engagements with corporate America.. Founded in 2015 by U.S. naval officer Matt Driskill, the program’s goal is to enrich conversations on current world topics at the Milken Global Conference by including the unique perspectives and life experiences of military officers while fostering their professional development through intentional strategic engagements between the military and corporate worlds. Thus, the MLC offers a unique opportunity for articulate and engaged military officers to contribute to the Milken Global Conference and other MLC affiliated programs.
