Tim Tendall is a Lt Col in the U.S. Air Force currently serving as the Chief of the Command Post and F-15E Instructor Weapon Systems Officer (WSO) in the 494th Fighter Squadron located at RAF Lakenheath, England. Major Tendall’s primary duties include directing the day to day activities of the 14 Airmen serving as Emergency Action Controllers and maintaining the facility that servers as the 48 Fighter Wing’s communication center. As an F-15E Instructor WSO, Tim has logged over 2,200 hours in the F-15E with over 800 combat hours in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He graduated from the Virginia Military Institute with a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies and received a Masters of Arts in International Relations from the University of Oklahoma. His personal awards the Air Medal (9), Meritorious Service Medal (2), Air Force Commendation Medal (3).
