Scot is currently attending the U.S. Naval War College in Newport, RI. Prior to this, he commanded the 64th Air Refueling Squadron at Pease Air National Guard Station, NH and served in several key staff and operational positions to include the Joint Staff at the Pentagon and as Chief of Senior Leader Management at Headquarters Air Mobility Command. Scot is also a Command Pilot, having instructed in both the KC-135R and the C-17A. He commissioned through ROTC at the Illinois Institute of Technology and holds Master’s degrees in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University and Operational Art and Science from the U.S. Army’s School of Advanced Military Studies program. His deployment and combat experience includes: Operations NORTHERN and SOUTHERN WATCH, IRAQI and ENDURING FREEDOM and NOBLE EAGLE (Homeland Defense). Outside the military, Scot is an active Rotarian, a member of the Greenleaf Center for Servant Leadership, VFW, Airlift/Tanker Association and Daedalians.
